From Dance Stages to Workplace Wellness: Our ShoutoutSoCal Feature
We’re thrilled to share that The Triangle Sessions was recently featured in ShoutoutSoCal, where I (Danielle Schulz, founder) had the chance to talk about what drives our work, what makes us unique, and a few of my favorite local Charlotte spots.
Why Relationships Matter Most
When people ask what I attribute my success to, my answer is simple: relationships.
The Triangle Sessions has grown almost entirely through genuine connections, word-of-mouth, and trust built one conversation at a time. It’s about showing up with warmth, listening well, and finding moments of joy and laughter—whether in a client session, over coffee, or in a chance encounter.
There’s no big marketing machine behind us—just people connecting with people.
What Makes The Triangle Sessions Different
At our core, we’re a workplace wellness and team-building company. We help teams move, connect, and enjoy themselves—yes, even on Zoom. Our offerings range from yoga and mindful resets to creative team bonding activities, all designed to make people feel more human at work.
My background as a professional dancer gave me skills I still use every day—reading the room, staying present, and bringing good energy into any space. I started The Triangle Sessions while becoming a mom of two and moving from NYC to Charlotte, which taught me resilience, curiosity, and resourcefulness.
The biggest lesson? People don’t need more content. They need connection. That’s what we’re here to create.
Charlotte Favorites
Since moving to Charlotte, I’ve been building my own “must-do” list when friends come to visit. Here are a few favorites (especially close to our home in Ballantyne):
OMB at the Bowl at Ballantyne – Great atmosphere, excellent food, and my go-to for a wheat beer.
U.S. National Whitewater Center – Adventure meets relaxation, whether we’re paddling, zip-lining, or just grabbing a beer by the water.
Cane Creek Park – Peaceful, spacious, and an easy escape from city life.
RayNathan’s BBQ – Because no Charlotte trip is complete without smoky, delicious BBQ.
Goodyear Arts + The Mint Museum – A mix of edgy and classic culture that I love.
Gratitude for the Journey
No business is built alone. My mom has been my biggest cheerleader, teaching me perseverance and self-care. Since moving to Charlotte, I’ve been blown away by the generosity of local entrepreneurs and friends. And I’m deeply grateful to SCORE for connecting me with mentors who’ve helped shape and guide The Triangle Sessions.
